what is the balance sheet of your life?

Each of us should at times take inventory of our life. It is so easy to miss what our life is about. We too often pursue things or even people without even knowing why – except that we believe we might find an answer for the deep cravings of our soul.  While these things may indeed provide satisfaction – it ends up being short-lived, and it always demands more! Our quest becomes driven by the compulsion to satisfy this demand, instead of the vision of our goals.

Think about it – and let me know!

  1. Thank you. Such a generous offer.
We have all gone through times of trouble in our lives, not knowing where to turn for help or maybe also too embarrased to face someone about a problem because of the nature of the problem.
This is wonderful to have this opportunity.
    Thank you again

  2. You comment on the balance sheet of life reminds me of a quote from the French author, philosopher and man of science Blaise Pascal who said:

The present is never our goal: the past and present are our means: the future alone is our goal. Thus, we never live but we hope to live; and always hoping to be happy, it is inevitable that we will never be so.”

  3. Glad you are doing this – great idea!

  4. Hi Dr. T.,

I am so happy to be the first to post on your blog. I like the title. Especially right now in our country, we all need hope for the journey. I am thinking about what you wrote. Welcome to the blogosphere. :)
